StillPointe Llama Sanctuary: The Home of Chewy and Honey

StillPointe is a non-profit animal rescue in Silverdale, Washington that takes in and cares for llamas that have mostly come from abuse/neglect type of situations. There are two people who run the Sanctuary and they have volunteers who help out as well. Just look at their sweet faces and try not to smile! :)

We’re so grateful to be able to help them and the llamas with the adoption donation we sent today. It will surely make a big difference for them. They rely solely on donations and receive no state aid whatsoever.

Thank you to everyone who contributed for making this possible. You are all so amazing. We all know what an animal lover Chris is - this will undoubtedly make him very happy. And that is the main purpose of Hugs4Chris - to send a little positivity and kindness his way however we possibly can. :)

Extra special thank yous to Carly for finding Chewy for us and for starting the whole llamas4Chris idea in the first place. You are so much more than just our Rachel. We love you! <3

Update on #ALlama4Chris Birthday Project

Thanks to all of our magnificent Huggers, the project is now known as #2Llamas4Chris! We will be adopting both Chewbacha and Miss Honey at StillPointe Sanctuary. We are able to cover the cost of both llamas’ basic care and upkeep for a full year.

I also powered through my phone phobia and called Chris’s publicist today. She OK’d the delivery of a muffin basket as well as a mailed package. They will give everything to him directly. She was really nice on the phone and put me right at ease. Whew. :)

We have 98 contributor names to include inside Chris’s birthday card. Thank you so much to all of you. None of this would be possible without your support, dedication and love. We are going to be able to send him a heartfelt birthday surprise thanks to all of YOU!

Please remember to keep tweeting your hugs as well. He sees those everyday and they are important, too. He’s wrapping up Glee this week and possibly saying goodbye to some good friends. A little extra fan love would probably be pretty nice. <3
